Geotechnical Centrifuge of the Gustave Eiffel University

Inaugurated in 1985, the geotechnical centrifuge, located in the Nantes campus of the Gustave Eiffel University, is a large research equipment unique in France

 

Modernisation and acquisition of equipment for the Geotechnical Centrifuge

The 2014-2020 State-Region Plan Contract has made it possible to develop, renew and modernise the experimental equipment of the Geotechnical Centrifuge located on the Nantes Campus.

A Martian probe tested in centrifuge

In December 2021, the parachute system of the Martian probe for the ExoMars mission was tested in a centrifuge.

We wish a good landing on this probe !!!
